We welcome everyone to our services. It's a time for reflection, spiritual regeneration and healing. If you're attending for the first time you will recognize familiar elements - hymns, prayer, scriptural readings, and a warm sense of fellowship. There is a simplicity to the services that is in keeping with the earliest Christian gatherings where love and healing were at the heart of worship.

On Wednesday evenings we gather for an informal mid-week meeting in which members and visitors to share healings and ideas learned from their study of Christian Science. These meetings include the singing of hymns, and readings from the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. This is a great opportunity for you to hear how people in your community have been blessed by Christian Science. If you cannot attend but wish to share, written testimonies, to be read in church, may be submitted to clerklagunabeachcs@gmail.com at any time prior to the meeting.

A unique feature of Christian Science church services is that we don’t have personal preachers. On Sundays, two lay readers, elected by church members, conduct services by reading passages from the Bible and related passages from the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. These two books are the ordained Pastor of our denomination. Learn more.
Students of Christian Science read and study a weekly Bible Lesson that is available for study or purchase at our Reading Room. You may also subscribe to it online.
The lessons consist of passages taken from the Bible and accompanying passages from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. These form the basis of our Sunday church services.
The Bible Lesson is published in the Christian Science Quarterly, which is available in various formats and languages to suit your study preferences.
Ample parking is available on church property.
